Judanarius made the following judgment at Firan time: 05:19:03 PM on Sat Nov 21, in the year 25 A.U.: Lord Vahseli is found guilty of treason against his Clan Leader and against the Royal House of the Griffon in that he did willfully ignore and flout a royal decree. He is henceforth banished from the lands of the Griffon and forbidden succor or aid by all of the Clan of the Griffon. Should he step foot after this day upon Griffon land he will be deemed to be further showing his contempt for the decrees of the clan and judged to be wishing his own death by doing so...in such case it will be granted without trial or consideration by any who bear arms in the name of the Royal House of the Griffon.

While the clan silently strikes Vahseli's name from their collective memories, and offer their support to Lady Zayes Vasen-Darkas. They wait with a collective breath to see how the announced betrothed of Lady Lucretia to their Lord Judanarius will turn out. In the mean time, show Griffon pride in welcoming the selected lady who'll rule by our leaders side.

Earlier in the week, a large gathering of workpeoples, craftspeoples, and laborer-type peoples were seen in the Griffon park. A few chuckles and a few elbow nudges, it seems the party of workers dispersed once Sentry Artaro and Lady Ranazeel came onto the scene, but not before sharing that it was a work party designed to get back at their least favorite clan. Stay tuned to the gossip network.

Lady Ranazeel shares that she is searching for helpers with the clan's needs and wants for the season, contact the lady should you be able to help.

A hunting party is being bandied about, a time where the clan can socialize and work together productively. @mail Ranazeel if you would like to attend so she can get it organized!

New Griffons -

Lord Entoro is back, and just in time for training. Heard he's been back in the saddle, and already making his presence known within the clan.

That Mes Anala has been seen around again, yeah, how many kids she be carting around, regular baby factory she is, someone oughta see her about being a nanny, she needs all the help she can get.

Mer Vinicius has been seen once more, looks like he's been working more then drinking...tis a shame, he's so grumpy when sober. Well, least he's being helpful to the clan.

Praise Judanarius! It seems our Clan Leader is taking the bull by the horns and addressing the people's concerns. Having had to face difficult decisions, he has done the best for the people.

With a name striked off the clan roster, the Griffon clan is speaking darkly (if at all) of Vahseli. Another target in which the Griffon's happily employ their discontent is the Auriks, take your pick.

(OOC - as always, use your discretion and follow your ic inclinations for praises and disses)

OOC News -

Welcome aboard everyone, as always...please @mail/page me with useful information regarding your characters, ic happenings and whatever else you want to share with the clan. If you haven't already - addcom gr=Griffon to add the Clan channel.

Ok, now that I got your attention, your favorite clan leader and mine (That's Jude, in case you are just catching up :) Made a suggestion for the birthday list (which Dimitra and Ranazeel both requested the IC b-days to go in the newsletter - YAY! for clan involvement on the newsletter). If you want to share your real life birthday with us (rl time too!) I'll start a new section just for happy good feelings :)

New Commands! -

I'll be trying to share commands that I find helpful. I am not the best at using commands, so if you come across any that you find useful @mail me and I'll get it in a future newsletter.

@date

Syntax: @date <month> <day of month> <ic or rl year>

This command is a utility to make it easier to convert from IC time to server time and back. Someday, it'll pay attention to your timezone and someday it'll be accomodating of many time formats but right now it likes dates like: Jul 13 2002 and Mar 19 23.
