Rumors, speculations, and tales still abound regarding the bizarre death of this man. He disappeared one day and a silver sculpture of him appeared in the hut of a Ticanee woman, who claimed he tried to kill her and her babies but the gods intervened and turned him to silver, thus saving her life... but not before he had managed to cut off her hand. Some people say the woman, Moona, was simply influenced by her crackpot husband Coran Emista, but some think she is telling the truth and are sure the mysteriously vanished Mer Guhtik is, in fact, now a statue of silver.
