COMBAT COMMANDS

This is a summary of all the commands in the Combat 3.0 game system. There is a help file for each one. Only the commands marked in the list with a * are coded and tested under Combat 3.0.

  • @COMBAT Get a huge status report on the combat situation.
  • STATUS Get a very brief status report on just you.
  • STATUS <anyone> Find out what anyone's combat status is.
  • @DEFENDERS Get a sorta graphical view of who defends whom
  • KILL <opponent> Fight them until they die. Slay them if unconscious.
  • ATTACK <opponent> Fight them until they fall unconscious (or die).
  • THROW <weap> AT <oppt> Throw a weapon at an opponent
  • VOLLEY @<team> Arch an arrow into a team with an attack bonus.
  • ENGAGE <opponent> Try to engage an opponent but do not attack them.
  • DISENGAGE <opponent> Try to disengage from an opponent.
  • PAUSE Stop attacking an opponent but do not disengage.
  • FLEE Try to leave the room as quickly as possible.
  • FLEE <direction> Flee a chosen direction. Harder than normal "flee."
  • STOP [FIGHTING] Disengage all opponents if you're not threatened.
  • AMMO <sources> Designate a list of arrows or sling bullets to use.
  • WIELD <weapon> Pick up a weapon and prepare to use it in combat.
  • UNWIELD Stop wielding the weapon you're using.
  • DEFEND <ally> Interpose yourself between your ally and enemies.
  • UNDEFEND Stop defending an ally.
  • @WIMPY <#> Set the level of damage in which you wimp out and flee.
  • TECH <techniques> Queue up a list of techniques to use.


Future commands:

CAPTURE <opponent> Fight an opponent until you capture them.
RELEASE <opponent> Release a capture opponent.
SURRENDER TO <opponent> Stop fighting and let an opponent capture you.
UNSURRENDER Change your mind about surrendering.
