EXPERIENCE POINTS (XP)

Experience points are a measure of a player's role-playing activity (see 'help earning xp'). While not a perfect indication of activity or role-playing ability, the points serve as a reasonable measurement of a player's devotion to playing the game (perhaps over many years).
