Overview

HERALD

The Herald is paid to deliver news. They roam through the populated areas, shouting out recent or upcoming important events. Sometimes Heralds are in the employ of the Republic, sometimes employed by clans. Other times, Herald's are employed on an event by event basis by nobles to announce upcoming events.

Heralds are commoners or middle class at best, and their work consists of long days, and a lot of walking. Rarely, a Herald might have a horse to travel the city on, but only if the horse was provided by his or her employer.

Equipment

The equipment you can use as a Herald would be a papyrus scroll to be able write down notes from clients who wish things to be announced.

Suggested Roleplay Ideas

  • Setting up RP to become a personal Herald for a noble family or royal family
  • Running around shouting things from the News list (Or new things) in public places, spurring up some RP
  • Being hired for various event shouting
  • Speaking with various ministers/temples to promote things for them
  • Make up stuff! Promote something that is /hearsay/!
