Overview

This man walks with an air of arrogant refinement that is only accentuated by the keen intelligence on his face and the thick scar across his cheek. It looks as if he has burned something off his face, and though it makes his visage a bit more terrible, Hralib has a kind of penetrating gaze that can be hypnotic.

Not much is known amongst the Firan populace about the man called Hralib. They know he's big, bad, mean, smart, and a head honcho of some sort -- but to what end and what ilk is rather shrouded. There are rumors that this is the guy to take down in Ellish, that he runs the slave trade and is all around Just Plain Bad.

Family Life

Most of Hralib's family life is hazy to Firans. It's not like they particularly care who his parents or children are anyway. What little there is known has generally filtered through via escaped slaves.

Known Facts

• He speaks Firan. Several people in Mount Doom provided accounts for the Great Library in 26 A.U. of their encounter with the horned devil. In Vasyklo's own words: "And when this beast spoke, it was not in their evil tongue, but in our own - a near perfect facsimile of the blessed Firan language. He rather boldly stated that his name was Master Hralib."

• From that same trip, it became evident that Hralib knows Lady Lilana. He knew of her, he said, from spies within the Republic and considered her a prize.

• He's oddly hospitable, or so it seemed to those who were caught in 26 A.U.: "At the end of his interrogation of us, the dog had beds brought and slaves came to tend our wounds, along with a most unagreeable spicy bean stew for our meal."

• Governor Fudathim is in overall charge of all activities. Under him come the warlords. One warlord is assigned to each city wall - North, South, East, and West. Hralib is supposedly a warlord, though of what wall, Firans are not sure.

• It is said that Hralib himself owned the Sennet Family while they were slaves in Ellish.
