The Hydrans fragmented without leadership but the most common choice for Regent was Aldrikos Ista Aldrik; a blood relation of Belik, a man, a soldier, and one not at all involved in the chaos save being held by Pavan. Amenik appointed him and a regency council, naming each city a respected Hydran lord or priest to oversee them. Aldrikos promised to place the Hydran thoughts and way of life first while in his regency.
The Eagles were kept in a continual lockdown, mostly to keep them from adding to the chaos in the Hydran district kept under control by Republic troops.
