VOLUME VII - December 9, 2001

The last month of winter has brought torrents of snow to Arinzi, and many harsh words from an agitated populace underdressed for the winter. In typical Hydran fashion, the clan's leadership has been gathering people together, to remind them of the glory that Zutiv has brought them in Arinzi, and the beauty of their current home, giant snowbanks or no.

While many of the more noteable personages are appeased (and well dressed), much work is needed to satisfy the average Hydran citizen, who has suffered much during these cold winter months. We must continue to come together and lend strength and encouragement to one another, at the Temple and also at clan-sanctioned social gatherings in public locales.

His Honour Belik has found an inventive way to raise spirits; he hid seven diamonds amongst the public places in Arinzi, symbolic of the seven steps to worship of the True God, Zutiv. These diamonds were found, in chronological order, by: Mer Tezer N'gadanik, north of the city. Mes Serra Zuriaki, in a barrel in the stables. Mer Ameer Mageeran, in the forge. Mes Leena, in a chest at the weaver's. Mer Bamik, in the kitchen of the Nine Heads Tavern. Mes Hattie Mageeran, among the bandages at the health clinic. But... Does that not leave one unclaimed? All hail His Honour's kindness to his people! And get out there and find that last diamond!

There have been several gatherings since the beginning of the winter, and much credit belongs to Mer Ameer Mageeran, who hosted two such events over the course of the last week. It has been an eventful set of seven days in Arinzi, and there is still time to raise more spirits before the end of winter! Do your part to increase morale today!
