Payudos' Hydra Poop

VOLUME X - December 30, 2001

Though the horrors of winter have subsided, an occasional youth of the Hydra clan can be heard murmuring a newfound hate for spring! That's right, singles; April is here, and with it, the Hydra deadline for marriage! Because most of the time during the harsher months was spent working rather than looking for mates, and because there is no active matchmaker in Arinzi at the moment, the Minister of Health and Public Welfare has decided to arrange a single's club, details about the selfsame to be forthcoming.

Also on the subject of marriage, a grand wedding took place today in the Temple of Zutiv, and many Arinzians came to witness the event. Mer Ameer Mageeran and his new wife, Mes Alee, exchanged wedding necklaces before quite a crowd. Great praise should be offered to the newly married couple! On another happy note, Mer Ameer's daughter is soon to be wed; to none other than her employer and 'commanding officer,' Payudos N'gadanik! This, the second large wedding in Arinzi for the year, will occur on (OOC: January 2nd, 2002).

Though it is strange in conjunction with thoughts of matrimony, second only in commoness as a topic of conversation is the coming war season; and what the Hydra effort will consist of. Seemingly preparing for the worst (or best), the Health Clinic is accepting both volunteers and full time employees. Though it would be helpful to have those skilled with healing and herbology apply, any able-bodied man or woman is welcome to stop by and speak with the Minister or Mes Hattie.
