Brit's Hydra Poop

The Sports Report:

Seems we've had a rash of misfortune during the festival this year. Hundreds of people were stranded when a 'Monster of Zin' (damn pagans) crushed the piers leading from Anarinuell to Sarkaran across the river. Reportedly, the monster had many arms and was VERY large. One witness declared it was like an island, right in the middle of the river. Another strange happening was two very hungry griffons finding their way into one of the Pavillions during a contest. Seems since the pilots were flying people to the festival, they'd forgotten to feed the poor beasts and after standing in the hot weather for a few, the griffons decided to take it upon themselves to 'hunt'. On top of that, these beasts were reportedly very affectionate after eating some of the festival food, and were upset by some of the screams and running by Firans. Yet another was a minor brawl reportedly caused by 'lovage tea' (if such a thing exists). The poison taster who was present tested the mead in the Pavillion for poison and declared it as 'lovage, without a doubt'. Pagan idiocity? Or was there /really/ something in win--um, mead?

The war effort continues. If you've got extra stenis this month, or extra energy to spare, send it along to the Republic Military! Gooooooooooooooo Firans!

Nothing but Sun! Sun! Sun!

To say the least, Arinzi has indeed been quiet. Rumors report that the Zin Monster is headed toward Lurashar, which as most people know, is right around Arinzi. No swimming! Don't want annnnnnymore funerals.

Old? Naw, just Experienced!

• Aristria N'Gato turned 42 years old on April 4th. I didn't think she was /that/ old!
• Saria, Sarus and Nuri's little girl, turned 4 years old on April 6th.
• Wakiro, our newest little Hydrat (or one of them), turned 17 years old on April 17th.
• Cesare's getting up there in years, too! He turned 35 years old on April 20th.

Diss Way and Dat

Amazingly, I did not find a SINGLE @mail in my @mailbox this week, so hrm. Who to diss, who to praise? I would hope people would praise Belik, cause he's getting reallllly old and it MUST take a lot of energy to stay alive!

As for Dissing? Take your pick. Jia's always a good one. Stupid social-climbing pagan divorcee didn't know what she had when she had it. *disdainful sniff*

Off the Roster!

• Piarres, played by Armanot's former player, was taken off the roster this week.
• Tezer, our on-again, off-again pilot was also taken.
• Irina, bless her heart, has fallen off the roster too! She stuck it out bravely in our empty little town allllll week!
