Nothing but Sun! Sun! Sun!
Corruption's been....well, burnt to the ground, so to speak! Clan Leader Belik burned 28 theives at stake for their parasitical actions over the Winter of Hardship. Their souls will go on, but this life is definately over for them. Be sure to thank him for protecting the good of our peaceful city!
Also, an engagement has been announced between Abderus Mageeran and Polyxena Jaldrish (*cough* who called that?). Congratulations, you two!
Old? Naw, just Experienced!
- Cantrix, our wondeeful lil cobbler, turned 23 on June 25th!
- Serra! Serra turned 21 years old on July 2nd!
- Little Lady Rasha turned 16 on July 3rd.
- Witranos turned 27 on July 13th (Didn't he /just/ have a birthday?)
- Keleena (or as I like to call her, Kelly) just had a bday! She turned 22 on July 13th.
OH BABY!
It seemed only fair that I put this in here. Congratulations to Serra and Phaethon for the adoption of young Lysander! Even though he's already a year old, you truly show your Hydran spirit by taking him in. Yey! Way to go!
Diss Way and Dat
Diss the heck out of pagans! They're evil, evil, evil. Why would they burn things down? Do we ever light fires to peoples' homes here in Arinzi? Of course not! Belik'd have our hides! *cough*
Praise Belik! And I'm not just trying to suck up (now, let's see...that' 36 brownie points for me...) He's /really/ old, and somehow, he manages to cheat death, month after month! Did you realize that we basically fly through a month every ten days? That means every week, Belik has a death check. Praise him! Praise Belik!
The Sports Report:
The City of Sin lives up to its name yet again! Seems a few of the peoples' favorite nobles were jailed this week on counts of raiding and spying, including Lady Delegate Throgana Keniwik, Lord Yaffros Iberik, Lord Kemet Manosik, and Lord General Zafir Junik.
The Ranivor seems to have given those darn pagans a curfew now! 10pm to 5am :) See? Being in Arinzi has it's moments. No curfew, no fires, no evil whores... yep. Praise Belik! Woo!
Rumors circle about that the head of the Didoron family has bit the dust. No one seems to know exactly why, nor whom killed the old politician. Speculations by various @bbs lead to Lord Pertinax having killed Orikos, but...speculation may not be right, all in all.
The same man (not the dead one!), Lord Pertinax, and Lady Proxy Ibania also seem to have sentenced many corrupt clanspeople to death for fraud, imbezzlement, etc. Down with crime! Even if they are pagans.
Fire!! FIRE! The Bear Clan was hit with the fires this week. Seems to have become a routine thing; one dislikes something, riles a mob, and burns things down (gets out her party hat). However, it also seems that few were harmed, which we can all be thankful for. Zutiv protect them!
