The Delegate elections continue for hte next couple weeks. (Till monday after next) See that you support your delegate of choice with as much praise, cheers and other SP gaining means as possible. Hold gatherings, pass out painings of hte delegates...anything. the two delegates in the lead at this time are Ameer, Dinesh, Battus (psst Ameer is hydra..GO Hydra!)

Rodellos has agreed to release Razesh Diadorn back to his family and allow him to claim the title and prestige that he should have to take his place amongst that family. *Yay Rodellos*

Look out! Belik Lives again! Our esteemed leader has survived another set of @checks. Make sure you pray to Zutiv for his continued health.

Farming Season has begun and Mer and Mes all across Arinzi are tilling their fields to produce the things that will feed our families for the coming months. Farming takes a GREAT amount of ERP. If you are one who has extra and wouldn't mind selling it at a fair rate you might contact one of the many who will need it.

Attention all Hydra males aged 16 to 20. Hidden deep within the Military Census reports (news military census) is a line that you really need to know: The Hydra clan receives a higher percentage of those in the military vocation because they have a law that requires their men to enlist for 4 years at age 16.

What Does it Mean to be a Hydra?
A meditation by Kalchus Jaldrish

Simply put, to be a Hydra is to be part of the many that are the one. Just as the legendary beast of our namesake has many heads all connected to a single body, driven by a single purpose, so are we as a clan, as a people. No man is greater than the whole but each must fulfill his place. Our Clan Chieftan is our guide and our virtue, it is His wisdom and faith that drives us forward. Our nobles serves as exemplars, embodiments of service and loyalty to his honor's will and Zutiv's light and bearers of the yoke of leadership. Our scholars, priests, and men of learning chart how we might best spread Zutiv's will in the material world. Our soldiers defend us from harm. Our farmers, merchants, and crafters take up the labor that provides food for our bellies, clothes for our back, and arms for our defense. Our women bear the sacred responsibility of birthing and nurturing future generations for like the legendary Hydra, while individual heads might fall, the body shall grow new heads for another man must take on a fallen comrade's duty.

This is why we must shelter and protect our women, why they must not know the rigors of the field of battle or the burden of leadership. New generations must be sired to fulfill the obligations of their fathers. While each man has his duty to perform, no duty is lesser or greater than any other-- all must play their part in keeping the whole strong. A man may take satisfaction in the way he fulfills his duty but he should not know pride. To put one's self above the whole is to invite Zutiv's wrath. One need only look at the Republic to see the price paid when one man, any man, put his wants, desires, or goals above the greater good. Let no man think he is above his duty. We are men of honor, men of duty, men of faith. We are Hydra and united, as Hydra, we shall ever be. May Zutiv's light shine on us all.
