THE ARINZI EXAMINER
(First off, this is my first newsletter, so it's pretty shoddy right now. It'll get better in the future. :) )
People throughout the Republic are celebrating the end of this year's war season. There were many ups and downs throughout the fighting, which was, as described, some of the heaviest in recent years. There were many lossed on both sides, including the leaders of both hosts; Lady Zates Vasan-Darkas, also High Priestess of the Pagan Temple of Srenna, and the Shammie High General both perished in the fighting.
Also lost was out own Centurion Yavernus Nesteroon. He died a gallant death, praising Lord Almighty Zutiv to the end. His funeral will be held in Arinzi, date to be announced.
Another outcome of this war season was a recent Court Martial of several officers and soldiers who were alleged to have taken part in a rape of a shammie prisoner. One of those accused was our lovable Hydran Halfie Guvekon. Lord Proxy Rodellos did an excellent job of defending his case, and he was cleared of all charges but one. His punishment will be forced conscription in the military for four IC years. So, let's all go give him a few words of support whenever we are in Anarinuell! He may be a halfbreed, but he's a Hydran and worships Zutiv, dangit!
On to happier news. Finally, after an extremely long and tedious wait, Mer Benetto Rianavalu and Mes Letitia Jaldrish were wed last week! I know we've all been waiting for this for a long time, none of us more than Leti herself. She joins the Rianavalu family, along with her (and Ben's) daughter Tianette. Yay for weddings!
Recently in Arinzi, Lord Proxy Rodellos held a meeting he dubbed HIDRA (Houses In Discussion with Rodellos in Arinzi). Attending the meeting at the Arinzi Community Center were the Lord Proxy, Delegate Ameer Mageeran, His Grace Father Javier Jessamyn, and Mer Hugannelli Rianavalu. Various topics were discussed, all aimed at improving the success of the Clan and its territories and the lives of its citizens. A right pleasant time was had by the four gentlemen.
Let's all give a warm and friendly Hydran welcome to Darus, a sentry in Anarinuell who just came off the roster. Help him OOC if you can, and if you're part of his @family, give him a page and break him into RP.
IC Command of the Week: @social/report. Useful information that your character would know about the social standings of everybody in the same room.

The newsletter goes out every Sunday, usually at night. Have your little tidbits of info @mailed to Hugannelli by Saturday, preferably, though they will be taken up to the time it goes out.
