THE ARINZI? EXAMINER
The event which we have long feared, but which we also knew was inevitable, has occurred. His Honor Belik, Clan Leader of the Hydra for longer than most people in Aerval have been alive, has finally passed. He leaves behind him his wife Lady Senika and several children. Lord Proxy Rodellos has called for the mandatory period of mourning, and our great leader's funeral will be in due time. (OOC: December 22, 9 pm EST) Please be reminded that navy clothing is appropriate for funerals, (and thanks to all the overworked tailors out there who went above and beyond the call to outfit as many people as possible!) and that all who attend will be expected to offer something up for the funeral pyre to honor our great leader one last time.
Our deepest sympathies also go to Lord Payudos and Lady Hattie. The two recently became parents again, but the boy born to them died shortly after birth. Lord Adram will be sent to join the Holy Father as soon as is feasible, considering the other events of our lives.
Young Lord Amenik will be having a birthday soon, and we need to send him all the best wishes we can in this time of great sorrow. The boy will need all of our help, as the eyes of the Republic will be on him for the next several years. As well, Lady Senika's birthday is soon upon us, and there can be no greater gift for us to give her then all the love and support we can muster.
There was a fire in the Hydra District a month ago, and many people have blamed young Eagle hooligans. We remind everyone to stay calm in this time of great duress and let the First Division investigate.
In Other News
Lions again! Yet another pride of the abominable beasts have begun to appear inside the walls of the city, and recently they took their first fatality. Captian Antonia Garkansen, of the Chimera Clan, was killed while fighting one. Remember to use caution when traveling outside your home. (<peek exit> is your friend!)
Draugik is a mean halfie! The 'Lord High General' has been very erratic of late, usually with bad results for those who seem to get in his way. A recent incident in the barracks, after one of the lion attacks, prompted the goat-spawned Lord to throw Mes Opalina across the room when she was trying to heal a wounded man. Will nobody have the gusto to put the self-righteous Draugik in his place and teach him some respect? (Diss diss diss!)
Many praises this week! Lord Quadeem, of course, needs your kind words, since the Tanelishes are still continuing their attack on him. Also hand out a praise or two to Mes Yapra Keniwik, nee Rianavalu, who is being slandered by that whore of a woman formerly married to Firgus (Aurora), who calls her a cheat and a liar. Shame!
Diss your least favorite Tanelish, namely Udette and Jia, and diss Draugik for being a mean and nasty Halfie-scum. Or talk bad about Clan Leader Zeysani, since most people hold her responsible for all of the others being noble.

In Arinzi, we had a sign in the forum denoting who was who in the clan and their various positions and occupations. I think it's time we had one in the Hydra District, updated to reflect the change in environment and to allow for new skills gained by several characters. If you would like to be on it, @mail Hugo who you are to the clan and what services you can offer. For further information on that, check out <@vocation> and <@vocation/skill>. They can give you an OOC idea of who can do what, if you need something in a pinch.
This is going to be a trying time for all of us in the clan. Steph and Adam have asked for a Clan Meeting, and Rodellos needs you to send him suggestions of when you can be on for it, and if you can't be there, let him know about any issues you want addressed.
And since we should be entering a new era of RP for the Clan, I'm sure there will be a lot of things to talk about in future newsletters. @mail, message, or page your submissions to Hugo.
