Invasions! Raids! High over the skies of the city, griffons carrying Shamibelian riders were seen. All over the city warning bells were sounded, districts scrambling together to defend themselves. The Hydra district was one such district that saw heavy fighting. When all the dust was settled, the Hydran Military was victorious. This victory was at a price, however. Mer Hugannelli was the worst injured and Mes Serra had been abducted! The Mageeran estate, though valiantly defended, was robbed. The Jaldrish manor was also ransacked, though it appears that nothing was taken. A search party is being formed for Mes Serra. Contact Lord Proxy High General Katarus for information to join the search party. On a side note, the dashing and handsomely clad Mer Benetto was one to help defend our district, along with Mer Hugannelli, and Lord Proxy High General Katarus.

The horse racing league is off to a great start for the Hydran clan. The first two races were won by Lord Proxy High General Katarus, riding on Storm Cloud, a stallion from his own stables. Unsurprisingly of course, our clan's Lord Proxy is an accomplished horse breeder and trainer. This was show during last years fall festival when his daughter won first prize twice during horse events featuring horses from his stables. Who cares about the Ticanee horses when it's obvious that the Hydrans too know how to handle these noble animals?

New Toys and Docs

After reading our input on the Ikonboard thread of alt conflicts, Steph has rewritten the alt conflict files to better explain them. Please read Help policy alt index, help policy alts in general

A help file has been added detailing wiz involvement and reliability of rolls. It's a must read for those in the Republic Guard. Help military index, help investigations policy.

Wizard and PHer of the Week

Our staff does a lot every week to help all of us enjoy our little get away from the real world. Each week, Adam and Andie pick one person that really shone that week. I thought i'd post these names here also for those of you who may have missed it from the boards. Everyone remember to take the time sometimes to hug a staff member. They work hard for us! Fresh Off the Roster

No new Hydrans this week. If there is anyone you would like to see played, let me know and I can post on the recruitment board for you, or if you like to do recruitment posts yourself, feel free!

Praises and Disses

No names spring immediately to mind for dissing. Use your best judgment, if someone has annoyed you enough this week, diss him/her! For praises I would suggest Rodellos for being a good Regent. Or perhaps simply praise your sponsor. Remember to keep all praises and disses ic for you and don't feel obligated to do any of this, as these are merely suggestions.

Okay, that's it for this week! Just a heads up for you all, i'm going to be moving to my new house in a couple weeks. There will be no newsletter next week, though I hope to be able to get one out the following week. It's kinda up in the air, because I'm just not sure when the hubby will be turning off our internet here and setting it up at the new house. So, I'll be around next week, but since we close on Thursday, i'll be busy all weekend moving little stuff over, then the next weekend is when we do the full move with the truck and moving the furniture. I'll be around *until the computer is packed* to check @mail and stuff but pretty scarce after that. :) Just a heads up for you all!
