Hydra Happenings**
Who's Breeding:
Lady Zanna and Lord Lutrios have produced an heir for the N'Gadanik family, Lord Xendios. Mother and babe are both doing wonderfully. Like wise Lady Hattie and Lord Payudos have had ANOTHER son. Little Lord Felix is doing wonderfully as is his mother. Lord Payudos claims this is the last one for himself and Lady Hattie.... but we've heard that before haven't we?
Weddings:
Coming soon the blessed union between Mes Aleria and Mer Seriss. Come join the Istabelik family in celebrating thier joining. (Fri @ 9pm. @cal 3454).
News:
Lord Proxy Amenik Istabelik's birthday dinner went over well. The clan is pleased to be celebrating their heir's inching closer to an age where he can take the throne (and relieved the frail lord is still with them). The only small hitch that hampered the meeting was a scene caused my Mes Saria. Rumers abound as to what exactly is going on with the girl. Some say she ran away, some say she kidnapped a bunch of savage children, some say she has been seen in pagan temples. Regardless, something must be done about the girl! What happened to good hydran modesty and decency?! On a more pleasent note Lady Selia presented her brother with the lavish gift of an owl for his birthday. Matched with his ever present falcon, Belika it seems that the lord really does love his avian companions.
In business news, Gemian's Golden Brewery is open and ready for business. Contact Gemian in person or via messangers for all your wine and ale needs. Also, Lord General Proxy Katarus would like anyone with knowledge as to the ownership of the Tiny Wooden Shop (7.-10) in the Hydra District to report him very soon. If no one steps forward the shop will be appropriated for clan use immediately.
Guards! Lord Payudos is very unhappy with the clan guards and those of the Republic at the moment. It appears that not only were they unable to provide him with any information regarding the theif of his horses BUT he also suffered a great deal of trouble in retreiving them from the Ticanee stables.
TAXES! Taxes did go down this year despite rumors that again 5000 stenis would be the year's tithe. While 4500 stenis is still a great deal many are relieved.
Lastly but not leastly, there's rumors regarding Mes Udeena. Few may remember the hydran woman as she's lived in the Old City for many years. Not so long ago her husband Hammer died in the storms that ravished the city. Since that time her oldest daughter, Sarette has been living in the Istabelik mansion but several days ago it would seem Udeena's remaining children were deposited into Lady Senika's care. Many speculate what would prompt a woman to
give up her children in such a way.
OOC Stuff:
The command of the week is @shops. This nifty new command shows not only a list of all the pc owned shops with NPC shop keepers but also the districts within which they're located, the price range of the good sold there and the total number of items for sale. Very useful.
Praise Candidates:
- AMENIK - He's our heir and his birthday is just past, Amenik Istabelik is on the minds of the clan.
- RODELLOS - Yeah the taxes got lowered! Not by much but they're lower then last year!
- PAYUDOS, HATTIE, LUTRIOS & ZANNA - Breeding. And more importantly breeding BOYS. The clan is thrilled.
Diss Candidates:
- IXION - For violating the tenants of Zutivian worship and suporting a female initiate.
