News!

While the clan has been largely quiet the on its own the City as a whole has not been! Shambelians! SNAKES! Scorched earth! Swarming insects! Illness! The end is nay? Certinly not but some suspect that Zutiv may be angery with us... what else could it be. Prayer vigals have been orginized!

The latest news is that four persons have been turned to stone. A savage, a sinner and 2 eagles it is said.

While the Hydra clan seems not to have suffered nearly as much as others, many report that the Istabelik Mansion was reacently infested with serpents along with the royal houses in several other districts.

In light of the failure of the Republic to try Mes Zoey for her crimes, Lord Regent Rodellos has pulled members of the Hydra clan from the Republic army. While his actions seem to have brought all sorts of scorn down on the clan as a whole it would appear the Lord Regent himself is not suffering too great a dent to his personal reputation.

In light of this, Mer Abderus has very kindly offered to hire any man who is left with out paycheck due to leaving the republic military. Also. The very kind Mer is offering to supply water to any family in need at no charge.

In other clan specific news: Mes Dantana has lost custody of her children to her sister Aleria and brother in law, Seriss. Rumors circulate as to why they were taken. Some say neglect. Others say abuse. Some speculate that Dantana has gone back to her old ways. Some even have seen Aleria with a new born babe of late and wonder...

Speaking of babies, it's said that Mes Quiranda and Mer Symeon are again proud parents. This time of a healthy baby girl. Mother and child are both resting and recovering nicely.

Praises:

• ABDERUS - who's working hard to take care of the clan in these hard times!
• ALERIA & SERISS - who even though they're very young and newly wed have taken in 5 children out of the goodness of their hearts (and the lord Proxy's orders).

Disses:

• DANTANA - Boo. Hiss. Dantana swore an oath to be a good Hydran woman and she certinly hasn't been making good on that.
• ZOEY - She STILL hasn't had her trial and it's all her fault that our beloved Kasikonus died. Let her know we haven't forgotten.
