IDALIA ISTANAR

A Bear clan citizen born in 7 B.U in the city of Garusani, Mes Idalia Istanar's life has always been inextricably linked to that of the Teranzik Lords Tergus and Taleo. In Shamibelian captivity with them during the Great War, it was Lord Taleo Teranzik whose aid saw Idalia and her family rescued from captivity. On her return to the Firan realms, she moved to Anarinuell with the Teranziks, in their service, and it was through the Teranzik family that she met her husband Meriht. A typical Bear woman, Mes Idalia was known to be proper, industrious and accepting of her place in society. During Lord Taleo's term as Bear Proxy, she was appointed as Clan Minister of Agriculture, helping to fill the clan's needs and wants.

What exactly happened that made her and her husband Meriht boldly ask Lord Taleo for 20 plots of land, 40 million stenis and the award of nobility during his last days as Bear Proxy is unclear. Their demands and their questioning of the Ista Aldrik line to rule the Bear Clan is what caused them to be judged as traitors to the Bear Clan, and Mes Idalia, along with her husband, was executed in the last days of December of the year 27 A.U. She leaves behind her children Naraki, Winaros, Odoni, Acelya, Olicia, Kamnia, Riven, Dar and Sarania, the latter only having been adopted by the couple shortly before they made their treasonous demands.
