General Information
Lord Inarus Elikista of the Chimera Clan, formerly Inarus Iberik of the Eagle Clan, was born 6 B.U. to Zakariah and Fida Iberik. Brother to former Clan Regent and Former High Priestess Nalia Iberik. He has been a follower of Srenna since his Ceremony of Souls.
Family
A man of high family values, and stern control, Inarus was born into the Iberik family to Zakariah and Fida. His early years were shaped by the way his family acted and responded to each other. His Sister Nalia was the only one in the family to share any true family closeness with him. The years after his mothers capture were not easy for him, and they proved to shape much of his future life and her return to the Republic was a much talked about event due to her declairations. His first marriage to Dyanna was, in short, a disaster and was even the subject of a judgement by Ania, Clan Leader of the Eagle Clan at that time. Two years later, he married againm this time to then Chimera Clan Leader Inaya and it was with that event that Inaya branched off from the Elianik family to form the Elikista Family.

The Death of Sedrek (20 A.U.)
Born into the noble Iberik family, Sedrik was the younger of two brothers. His older brother, Yaffros, became the head of the family and Sedrik was left with only two things to attempt to claim as his own: fine women and finer ale. Rumor has it that it was falling in love with a commoner woman that set in motion the downfall that led to the loss of his title and removal from his clan. After coming up with a plan that involved, among other things, an attempt to disgrace a half-Shamibelian commander, several things went wrong and he was ultimately arrested on counts of treason. Though the charges were reduced to mere counts of sedition and slander, his punishment involved him being stripped of his title, kicked out of the Eagle clan, forced to move into the Old City and to serve four years of military service under the same commander he attempted to disgrace. During this time, Inarus and Sedrik had a very tense relationship. Numerous times Sedrik tried to bring Inarus into his plans, and every time he was refused. On one sad day in 20 A.U. Inarus was summoned to meet with him while he was cleaning a griffon tower. Inarus, who had been worried about his cousin's actions and plans agreed. During that meeting, a heated argument started where Inarus was insulted numerous times. As Inarus tried to leave, Sedrik rushed him and started to fight with him. The fighting grew worse, and Sedrik drew a weapon. That was his worst and last mistake. In an act of self defense, Inarus ended up killing Sedrik to save his own life.
This event shaped many of the relationships within the Iberik family that Inarus had. Anzo, Sedrik's father never was able to figive Inarus for what happened and stopped at nothing to try and ruin Inarus' life. In one instance, while Anzo was acting as the head of House for the Iberik family, Anzo attempted to remove Inarus from the family, cutting him off from family accounts and lands, including those rightfully his. While his attempt to disown Inarus was unsuccessful, some aspects had a far reaching outcome. Inarus has never forgotten it.
'The Dream (Dream Day)'
Some say it was nothing. Others claim it was a sign from the gods. Many still hold grudges from what they saw, but all who experienced The Dream were changed somehow. For Inarus, it made him understand how he truly felt about his service to the Gods, and it was that event that started him down the path to eventually becoming a priest of Srenna.
The Chimeran Conspiracy
The Chimeran Conspiracy has also become known as the Antonian Apostasy, and involved many high ranking nobles and officials in the Chimera Clan in an attempted coup against the current Republic order.
It was the arrest of the haffie Beyzo that started the whole investigation rolling. He claimed things about Antonius that were found hard to believe. Ronti let Lady Captain Taleena Oshta lead the investigation, but asked her to keep it quiet, just in case the haffie was trying to damage the name of a friend.
A few months later, it was found out that the haffie was indeed speaking the truth, and Antonius, along with Sir Nathim Ista Ankur, tried to get a group together to kill Lord Taleo Teranzik in a dramatic recreation of the Regime's trial of Clan Leader Firgalas. They recruited many Chimerans to this cause, including many of the Rissik family, including another of Iberik blood Yasha.
The outcome was a disaster for members of the Chimera clan, as well as the Elikista family. Inarus was brought up on charges of Treason, and also charged with not carrying out his duties as a commander in the Republic guard. In the end, after standing trial before the Clan Council, Inarus was found Not Guilty of Treason, however he was found guilty of other lesser charges. None of these charges resulted in fines of Stenis or Jail time BUT he was sentanced to serve out his life at the front as part of the Third Diviision, or to stay within the city, disolove all social arrangements with the exception of those of a religious nature (marriage) and resign his position with the military. He chose this end to his public service and was dishonorably discharged from the Republic Military after serving for over 33 years.
