Isa Eeshan was born a commoner of the Cockatrice clan in 4 B.U., and at an early age she chose to avoid an arranged marriage by becoming an Initiate in the Temple of Eesha. Before long, she was raised to the rank of High Priestess, and eventually chose to marry Sir Thallo Delphinus, Sharanir of her clan. The two of them had two children of their own, Shana and Firanik, and adopted Jahala, daughter of Sonjia and Kee. When Thallo was killed, having been hunted down for treason, Isa was compelled to marry again by her Clan Leader - this time to Lord Pangaros Istabannos, a purported crime lord from the Old City. With him she had a son: Anik. The woman's second husband was also executed for treason, accused of some kind of royal kidnapping. Isa was found guilty of having aided her husband, committing an obstruction of justice. She was publicly whipped, stripped of her title and position, and removed from the Istabannos family. It came as a surprise to many that one of the last actions of Lord Taleo Teranzik as Viceroy in 31 A.U. would be to exile Isa for her crimes against the Republic.
