JALATO EMISTA

Jalato Emista was born and lived in the Cockatrice city of Sarkaran for many years before eventually moving to Anarinuell when his children grew up and most of them decided to live in that city. Working as a miner, he used his skills and economic aptitude to shrewdly build up a thriving business based on the buying and selling of gems and other highly-demanded resources such as ore. Unfortunately this may have been a little too successful, for he came under the suspicion of profiteering, and the scandal was so great some of his family disowned him. Before he could be tried in court, he died of a heart attack while chopping down trees on the Republic's lands on Sept. 23, 20 A.U.
