JARAN

Lord Jaran was born an Iberik, and grew to lead that large noble family through several decades of prosperity. He was the founder of the Diplomat Inn which, today, is one of the most popular establishments for upper class citizens throughout Anarinuell. Lord Jaran was a cultured man of the arts. He was famed for his financial support of museums, businesses, schools, and a multitude of other facilities designed to improve the Firan way of life. He was also a shrewd businessman, and was not known for being frivolous by any means, but his economic leadership helped to make the Iberiks one of the wealthiest noble families in the city.

Years after the death of his first wife, Lady Olia Iberik, Lord Jaran married Lady Proxy Fidelia Ista Aldrik of the Bear Clan, thus joining that family as an Ista Aldrik. The marriage produced one child shortly before Lord Jaran's death in 34 A.U. at the ripe age of 74. It is rumored that during his final days, Lord Jaran bequeathed the entire Iberik estate to the Ista Aldriks. The claim has been unverifiable, but serves as yet another point of contention between the two families.
