JITANI BADGERTOOTH

Jitani Badgertooth was the first-born child of the ill-fated marriage between Harik and Witani. Jitty, as she preferred to be called, was well-known for her fiery temper, her tomboy-ish ways and her hatred of Alexa Wolfhawke. She was a notorious trickster in her youth and a devout follower of Elik. Despite this affiliation to the Firan gods, it all other matters she was firmly Ticanee, she never wore a stola or palla and her tunics were usually adorned with the Ticanee colours of blue and white.

Events during the Shamibelian raid of 24 AU brought a more serious edge to Jitani's previously fun-seeking personality and, more often than not, it was her tantrums and temper that were heard about the district rather than her laughter. She married Itoonus in 25 AU and their relationship was tempestuous yet happy. They had one daughter, Tima, who was said to be the spitting image of her mother.

Jitani's end came about during the riots of 29 AU following the duel between Lord Nydiam and Lord Rodellos. The two heirs to the Ticanee throne, Lord Ojitar and Lord Judanus, were endangered by the Cockatrices troops and Jitani chose to protect Harvinia who the troops were also trying to take into custody on the suspicion of being Katriva. The decision sat badly with the Ticanee Oshta who found her guilty of treason and executed her as a lesson to those who would not risk their lives for a member of the Oshta royalty. She leaves behind her husband and daughter.
