Overview
Junia Ista Aldrik hailed from a junior branch of the Ista Aldrik family, descendants of Queen Sabine's brother Varrat. Along with her sister Fidelia, she resided in the city of Nelanos far to the north. However, at one festival in Sarkaran she met and fell madly in love with Lord Xavier Manosik. Against her family's wishes she married him and moved to Cirusuran, but quickly found the life of a Gold Dragon wife to be miserable. She divorced her husband, causing great scandal, and moved back home to Nelanos.
Later on, at Queen Sabine's request, she and her sister moved to Anarinuell to help with their aunt's duties. Eventually she became Proxy of the Bear Clan and her aunt's direct heir, and became the de factor leader of the Bears upon the Queen's departure with the rest of the Heroes. Along with this came the staff of of the High Priestess of the Firan Realms, as well. Unfortunately, Junia fell into a coma thanks to the Mind Plague, only to miraculously awaken and later chosen with the marriage prize by Philander Jaffus. However, due to a scandal involving misappropriation of Bear Clan funds, they divorced.
Junia was picked again with the marriage prize, this time by Pertinax Didoron in 24 A.U. However, in that same year she executed her ex-husband Philander for treason during Festival, incurring the wrath of the Gods. Because of this, she was stripped of her position as Clan Proxy and the High Priestess' staff, then sent with her husband to the Cockatrice Clan as Didorons. Eventually, she became a Proxy of the Cockatrice Clan under Clan Leader Nydiam's reign, only to end up executed for treason by the Clan Council. She was found guilty of trying to steal the Ista Barun family for the Cockatrice and to have intentionally starved her people; for this she was sentenced to self-administered poison.

Family Life
Parents
Junia's mother was Lady Bashari Ista Aldrik, a descendant of Aldrik and niece of Queen Sabine. Her father was Lord Truscot, a distant cousin of the Ista Aldriks. Her mother is still alive, presumably in Nelanos. Her father died in a summer war campaign when Junia was a child.
Siblings
Fidelia: Junia's younger sister accompanied her from Nelanos to Anarinuell. She had more homely looks in terms of their family, and devoted herself to Unot instead of some of the more traditional patrons of the Ista Aldriks. During Junia's incapacity she took over leadership only to find disgrace after the Kemet Massacre. Eventually, she became Proxy of the Bear Clan once again.
Donos: Junia helped raise her younger brother, and so he saw her more as a mother than an older sister.
Marriage
Xavier: Junia fell in love with this Gold Dragon nobleman at a festival. They were married but the life of a good Gold Dragon woman did not suit an Ista Aldrik, and so the couple was divorced.
Philander: Mer Philander Jaffus picked Junia with a marriage prize at the Spring Festival of 22 A.U. Picking Ista Aldriks with marriage prizes does not work out for the chooser, and to nobody's surprise the marriage lasted only five months. They divorced, but he was allowed to keep his title and family. Eventually, Philander was executed for treason during the Fall Festival of 24 A.U. by his ex-wife.
Pertinax: Lord Pertinax Didoron picked Junia with a marriage prize after the Spring Festival of 24 A.U. They remained married even after her disgrace, but he met a strange and unfortunate end in 29 A.U., suspected of being poisoned by his wife.
Children
Laurelia: Junia had only one child from her three marriages, a daughter by Pertinax. She is an Ista Aldrik and Bear Clan citizen.
Accomplishments
Junia proved to be a capable leader for quite some time before everything fell apart, and especially before her bout with Mind Sickness. She became her aunt's Proxy and High Priestess of the Firan Realms. Also remarkable was her ability to bounce back from ruin, eventually regaining a position of power with a new Clan.
Scandals
First Marriage and Divorce: Both the nature of her first marriage and its demise was quite scandalous for a young Ista Aldrik woman at the time.
Philander's Execution: Executing her ex-husband during a Festival Peace incurred the wrath of the Gods and the removal of their favor from the Firan people.
Starving the Cockatrices: As Cockatrice Proxy the clan failed to meet needs, causing citizens to starve or perish.
