Overview
Junot was born in Unotran and came to Anarinuell just in time for the Great War. He was in the cavalry briefly until its disbandment and returned from the front with a wife, Amulya, a freed slave. They settled in Sarkaran, where Junot tilled the soil and developed his skills as an innkeeper, until the Gold Dragon seizure of the city. Junot and his family were put off the land and their pub, the Rat and Brew, burned.
Following the death of Amulya in childbirth, Junot entered a downwars spiral in which he drank too much and worked to little. He pulled himself out of it with the aid of family friends such as Quilliana and Ramisa, and the support of then-Lady Rasha Rissik. Working as a sharecropping farmer, he made a side business selling whiskey, ale and wines of all sorts.
His work on meeting the needs of the poor of the clan, brought him to the attention of Lord Razesh Didoron. Junot was offered the position of overseer of the Didoron lands and his family placed in a small cottage on the Didoron estates. Already in his 50's, he joined the Cockatrice militia and retrained as an artilleryman, rising to the rank of Captain. It was as an artilleryman he was recruited for the Apollonian Apostasy, and while he refused to join, he did agree to teach the conspirators the use of ballistas, and for this, and for entertaining treason without reporting it, he was exiled to the region of Ellish in perpetuity.

Sarkana: His eldest daughter married a Hydran, Tamund Nesteroon. In response to Gold Dragon atrocities against her family, Sarkana attempt to assiasinate the Gold Dragon clan leader, and was executed for her crime. She left behind a daughter, Tamina.
Taha: Daughter number two, Taha, went directly into the army. She was killed fighting valiently at the front. Her valor earned the family its name, Tahani.
Petir: Petir was adopted, brought to live with Junot and Amulya when he was a small boy. At first he cried at lot, and later in his youth he dabbled in petty crime, but now that he is an adult he's settled down and is trying to make a go of the family shop in Cocktrice District.
Delila: Delila was Junot and Amulya's last natural daughter. A hell-raiser who once had her little sister carried to the Cockatrice Palace by messenger, she left home after her Ceremony.
Kira: Also adopted, Kira is Petir's sister by birth. Rumor has it she is in the general area of Ellish, looking for her father.
Junotan: The youngest Tahani, Junotan looked like he would be following in his father's footsteps as a farmer until he left the city to seek his father with his sister Kira.
