Jurisdiction

The First Division have absolute Jurisdiction with in the City of Anarinuell in all areas not directly owned by a clan. This includes areas outside the city walls, including those privately owned. The area known as the Old City, which was ceded to the Republic by Clan Leader Jalil's judgment in the year 26 A.U., is also Republic Jurisdiction.

Clan Relations

Bear
Fidelia made the following judgment on Firan time: 02:27:22 AM on Sun Aug 14, in the year 38 A.U.: From this day forth, the First Division has blanket permission to pursue suspects and evidence from existing cases into the Bear district, although it is requested that such teams include a Bear officer if at all possible. For crimes initially occurring on Bear soil, it is the purview of the Bear leadership whether to invite the First to pursue the investigation or not, although the First is more than welcome to ask for such an invitation.

Chimera
The Guard have the right to pursue criminals into the Chimera District and have the right to respond to any emergency.

Cockatrice
The Guards must have permission from Clan Leader or Proxy in order to investigate or enter the Cockatrice District on any official business.

Rikon made the following judgment on Firan time: 08:21:22 PM on Thu Feb 13, in the year 41 A.U.: Even though it has been over two years, it seems that there is still some confusion in regards to the issue of juristiction of the First over the Cockatrice District. Originally, we had no jail and thus no way of properly incarcerating individuals in the district, and so my father-in-law - in his wisdom - allowed the First Division to take juristiction over the Cockatrice District. However, this arrangement ceased on October 1st, 38 A.U. when the Cockatrice Jail was properly completed by the then-new Clan Leader Diamia IstaNydiam. Since that time all matters of the guards have been handled by our own militia, and will be for the future.

Eagle
The Guards must have permission from Clan Leader or Proxy in order to investigate or enter the Eagle District on any official business.

Gold Dragon
The Guards must have permission from Clan Leader or Proxy in order to investigate or enter the Gold Dragon District on any official business.

Hydra
The Guard are not allowed to investigate or otherwise officially cross the boundaries into the Hydra District without direct permission from Clan Leader and/or Proxy.

Ticanee
The Guards must have permission from Clan Leader or Proxy in order to investigate or enter the Ticanee District on any official business.

Taria made the following judgment on Firan time: 02:40:25 AM on Sat Dec 23, in the year 39 A.U.: First Division Guards may capture suspects they are in 'hot pursuit' of into the Ticanee District. They may also respond to emergencies. Investigations in the district and arrests should be made with the assistance of a Clan Leader or Proxy. In extreme emergencies, the First Division may use Ticanee Clan militia to lend legitimacy to their endeavors if they are prepared to face the wrath of the Oshta Family should they be wrong about the exigency of the circumstance.
