Overview
Kagi's mother passed away when he was born, and his father, Pappa, never remarried, causing disappointment among friends and family. He stoutly refused to let the boy speak anything but Ticanee in his house, and was a strong follower of the totems. Pappa passed away on Dec 12th, 40 A.U. while Kagi was celebrating his 8th birthday, run over by a wagon as he was bringing the boy a present.
Kagi came to Anarniuell from Caldera City after running away from the Kamnestran orphanage in Caldera City. While out playing with his friend Fallon, he followed a crow, which lead him to a caravan making ready to depart. With the many wagons and families who were moving about, two more children was something hardly noticed. They traveled with the caravan to the city, in hopes of finding their Ticanee people, and perhaps finding out more what happened to Fallon's parents who had gone to Valoria.
Once in the city, Kagi and Fallon were soon residents of Totems Children Orphanage, under the care of Dame Alexa until they were adopted. Kagi was adopted by Zhara Anirik, and moved to the Dawn Mansion.
Currently
Currently, Kagi is adapting to his new family, and his new situation, of living with nobles, and having the onus of a clan proxy, in his adoption, declare that the clan expects him to become a hero, much like his adopted grandfather Sir General Agarn. He is also studying to be a great weaponsmith someday, and is also known to have scrolls constantly about him as a scribe would have.
He is most frequently seen with his doll, Kokoho, a crow, in his hands or on his shoulder, his dog, Animoch, loping at his heels, and Fallon, his friend and ally, at his side.
Family Life
As a strong follower of the Totems, it is hard for Kagi to follow the religious practices of his adoptive father Deiphobus and his mother Zhara. Even stranger is having to figure out which of the Dawns he shares his nursery with are to be bowed to, or the many other children from various families.
Lord Primo insists on being called uncle, Grandmother Kerasha, the priestess Zekki who is now Fallon's mother, the house steward Ianootz even the house cook, Witoozi, are almost always about, and all appear to have different ideas on how Kagi's childhood should be spent.

Approval has been granted for Mes Zhara Anirik, the daughter of the great Griffon Clan hero Sir General Agarn Anirik, and her husband, Mer Deiphobus Anirik to formally adopt the boy child from the Ticanee Orphanage known as Kagi. He shall be known, from hence forth, as Kagi Anirik, and we look forward to seeing what sort of hero he becomes for the Ticanee Clan, following in the great footsteps of his predecessor, Sir General Agarn Anirik.
- Making his way to the great city of Anarniuell
Following a crow to where the caravan was organizing for the trip from Caldera City, Kagi made the instant decision to run away from the orphanage in Caldera where he had been placed after his father's death.
- Making his first sword
After spending months studying and writing descriptions of swords from the common soldiers to those made to reproduce the weapons worn by Sir General Agarn, Kagi was able to, ahead of schedule, make his first bronze short sword at the age of 9.
- Winning the Fall Festival of 41 AU's Catfish Races
At a competition hosted by Lady Corrina Oshta and Lady Tia Firgalik, Kagi successfully took top prize, winning half a million stenis, which he's dedicated to funding much of his education.
- Assistant Kidfest Cooriginator Spring Festival 43AU
Assisted Lady Cecilia IstaNydiam and Lady Nilara Teranzik in the children's festival that is held as part of the Spring Festival in Sarkaran.

Mer Kasi Emarinsari, with permission from his parents, has requested his name be changed so he cease being confused with Mer Kagi, a Ticanee boy of about the same age. He wishes to be called Loshad, and though it is a very peculiar and foreign-sounding name to me, I'm allowing it. From this day forth, he's to be referred to as Mer Loshad Emarinsari. Hopefully it will sound more natural as time goes on, as the more I say it, the less it sounds like a word at all to me. But, Loshad it is.
