Zeysani's War: Katarus' Appointment

Despite most of the Hydran population supporting Pavan as their new regent, the Clan Council named Katarus to the post. The Hydran people in Anarinuell rioted against the appointment of the 'Puppet of the Clan Council', the city of Zutran willingly offered its' support to Pavan. In an attempt to discredit Pavan it was revealed that Katarus and Godiste had participated in wife-swapping orgies. Pavan had Lord Quadeem N'Ganik executed as proof of his sincerity of demand and the body was returned to Anarinuell.
Silent in all this was the Viceroy Sadin Elianik and Lord Rodellos N'Gato, holder of the Hydran Medallion. Lord Judge Taleo Teranzik mentioned the possibility of Pavan in Arinzi NOT being Pavan but that a mer in custody named Zingo was the real Pavan. While the rest of the Republic focused their attentions Arinzi, the Bear and Chimeran leadership tried to broker a peace.
