Overview

Lady Cecilia IstaNydiam welcomes all children to Eesha's honored 43 A.U. Spring festival -- a time of excitement, and of rejoicing. But this Spring festival, it will also be a time of adventure. Welcome, children, to the Reign of Pirates! All Kidfest events can be expected to follow a theme of piracy. In the end, pentathlon winners, as well as the one overall winner (the child who has won the most events), will be granted a stay upon the Black Legacy. (In construction!) All winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place) of Kidfest events will receive steni prizes. 1st place winners of each event will have a chance to declare a new Pirate Law.

Rules

Partners

  • Any children competing in an event with their declared Pirate Partner in attendance will receive -1 difficulty on all @checks. No penalty for the absence of a partner.

Oaths

  • Any child caught breaking a Pirate Oath will receive +1 difficulty on all @checks for the duration of one Kidfest event. If the child is caught breaking his/her Pirate Oath a second time, the child will receive +1 difficulty on all @checks for the remainder of Kidfest. Two common children, or one noble child, required to witness and report the breaking of an oath. If you are caught making a false report, you will be penalized same as if you broke an oath. Lady Cecilia will review any evidence submitted. Remember, you're a pirate! You might try to cheat your oath -- but it's in everyone's benefit to catch you!

Laws

  • Any child caught breaking a Pirate Law will be expected to pay penance as determined by the Kidfest coordinators and approved by one adult chaperone. Penance must be completed before the child in question can compete in any other Kidfest events. Report all infractions to Lady Cecilia.

PC Kids Only
