KINNIT DRISTARNA

Kinnit Dristarna was born Nov 14, 15 A.U as the third son to Linni and Cyrek Dristarna. He was described as his mother as having too much energy and enthusiasm for his own good, which many could agree with if they ever passed him on the street. Kinnit wasn't shy and had a wonderful disposition that was worthy of a Republic Soldier. So when Kinnit decided after his Ceremony of Souls to join the Republic and follow his ambition to be a pilot, no one was really surprised. It was also rumored that he was to start courting Mes Tuelli Istariniad, since the two also had a profound love and sense of service to Unot and his Temple.

It is this exact love that would bring about Kinnit's fate in Oct 6, 33 AU when Lord Anikos and Lord Rivaren decided to use their griffons for crowd control in the Forum. The healers of the Republic were called to help those who had fallen, and the healers of Unot also answered the call. Mer Kinnit was ordered by a Priestess, after the desperate need for a healer in the forum was expressed, to go with Unot to help, that he'd protect him. Unfortunately, Kinnit was attacked by a griffon as soon as he entered to help and didn't survive. Kinnit died the death any Priest of Unot would be proud of. Some often refer to him as being brave for helping at all. Kinnit is the second of Linni and Cyrek's sons to die, and is survived by his mother, father and older brother, Edrik.
