LADEENA ISTARABI

Ladeena was born in Lurashar on June 21, 3 B.U. Known for her sense of propriety and good moral character, Ladeena had been highly sought after by nobles to be a governess for their children. On her return from a visit to Lurashar, she discovered herself to be deeply indebted to the Republic, and exchanged that debt for service to the Shadina family.

Ladeena's life came to an end on the day before her birthday in 33 A.U. Returning from the bath house with some of her charges, she was spotted by a group of people hunting haffies giving a half-Shamibelian beggar a few coins. Her last, selfless act had been to shoo the children with her off to find a guard when the mob overwhelmed and killed her. She is survived by her brother Paulos.
