Overview
Ladies-in-waiting are primarily employed in the Royal households. While they do not have to be noble, it was generally preferred. Their duties are to attend to the needs of the Queen and the Princesses, sometimes representing them in househould matters such as commissioning gifts from craftspeople or arranging for entertainment for parties. They live within the Palace and are expected to dress and act in a way that does not dishonor the Royal families. Ladies-in-waiting serve royalty, both The Royal Family as well as clan royalty. Lady's Maids perform the same primary duties, however they serve the general nobility as opposed to the royal families.
Equipment
A lady-in-waiting can have a rather large array of tools if they need it. Many will carry extra toiletries for their employer when they venture out of the house such as perfume and perhaps an extra pair of hairpins.
A lady-in-waiting must also comport herself properly at all times thus a tasteful wardrobe of her own and a proper set of hairpins are a must.

She must handle herself with grace and decorum at all times and thus Sociability, Mobility and Allure are key, additionally Intuition assist in planning ahead to insure her mistress' needs are met. Willpower and Maturity allow her to remain graceful under pressure.
Skills tend to vary more broadly depending on the needs of their employer and amongst ladies-in-waiting they tent to be more socially oriented even than their common counterparts. Etiquette is absolutely vital to a lady-in-waiting's success as she may never do anything to dishonor the royal or family she serves. Gossip and fashion are very common skills for a lady-in-waiting as well.
