Overview
Laytania is a strongly blooded Firgalik by birth, and now a member of the Elianik family by marriage. Her father, Lord Dursun Firgalik, died a hero at the front against the Shamibelians when she and her brother were very young. Her mother Lady Leyla, on the other hand, has married two other men since - Lord Aldrikos Firgalik, and now Prince Sadin Elianik during the Scirlut fiasco. Mother and daughter have not seen each other for over ten years now, however, and life goes on.
Betrothed to Prince Zaridos Elianik while still a child, the two began courting immediately after her Ceremony of Souls. They married shortly after an appropriate length of courtship and her fifteenth birthday in 36 A.U. Their wedding was that befitting a royal couple, though luckily it lacked any assassination attempts despite the Scirlut drama that her mother had been ensnared in. Their first child followed nine months later, Princess Cersei - the first new Elianik of her generation - who eerily enough was born on Ranivor Elianos' birthday! Prince Zephyr, Princess Dasani, Prince Adidas, and Prince Zaridon have followed in the years thereafter.
Over the years, Laytania has established herself in the public eye numerous times. She has played the part of Acting Queen, Eagle Proxy, revitalized the Marsyas Zaridik Academy of Fine Arts, among other things. Perhaps one of her finest accomplishments thus far has been bringing the Social Committee back to life after numerous years of stagnation. Who knows what she will do next!
Personality
The picture perfect image of a proper Gold Dragon woman, Laytania has only improved upon this image once becoming an adult. She adores wearing silk and fancy jewelry, now that she's able. Polite and respectful, Laytania is always aware of her station in life. She often seems withdrawn inside of herself, however, preoccupied by her own little world of music. It gives her an almost ditzy appearance at times, when she's singing or humming quietly to herself. But, those who know Laytania best know that there is much more to her than she leads one to believe. Around those she trusts, or when music is near, she shows her true colors.
