To my dear Lord Cousins Lord Proxy Rodiste, Lord Brother Osirus, and Lord Kael N'Gato,

I want to thank you all for arranging for the return of my lord father's body to the True Temple so that we can say proper goodbye to him. That you went through this trouble means a lot to me, as I'm sure it means to my lady mother and siblings. Loosing our noble father is a horrible blow, softened only by the knowledge that this is how he would have wanted to die and that he was surrounded by his kinsmen when it happened. Selfish woman as I am however, I hope and pray that none of your souls will follow in his footsteps this war season but will return to us, victorious Warriors of the Hydra Clan.

Since I know that the Hydra Warrior code means that you all needed to say goodbye to hearth and home, I won't bore you with the details of everyday life but I hope you will appreciate the knowledge that my baby is feeling very active and likes to move around. Your younger brother was kind enough to visit me the other day and we spoke of dogs and noble duties. He is growing up into a very fine young man much like his brothers. Included in this bag are a few scrolls in case you wish to send letters back home, but again, if this is something Hydra Warriors should not do, or you find unable to do due to your many much more important duties, I do understand of course, as will your lady mother and noble siblings.
