Srenni, I pray that all is well at the front, I have heard news of the victories and know you must be proud to at last walk the halls of Fort Zayes. The news of Esen's death has hit the family hard, I can hardly imagine the house without him, but I know we must be strong for Carina's sake and for the family.

I have good news from home, a sign perhaps from Mother Soli as to what the future will bring. I have given birth to the most joyous of daughters. Little Anasoli was born this morning, October 4th. She has brown hair, brown eyes, and tan skin, so unlike the rest of us, as if from mother soli herself. But more than that, little Anasoli is the most joyous of spirits who the midwife swears laughed when she breathed her first breath. She has the glow of health to her even for her small size. To me she is showing that the future will be a happy one. perhaps it is just the imaginations of a proud mother, but I know she is meant for something special if not the future of the clan.

I hope that you are well, I will pray for you and the rest of the soldiers as you approach Ellish that you will be victorious and well.
