Garmon is sitting behind the counter with a small mask in his hands. He is working small violet flowers into the sides of the mask when the knock on the door comes. He stands to greet the woman who comes in, "Lady Shenisa, how nice to see you again." He gives her a deep bow and motions for her to come in, "Please have a seat. Make yourself comfortable." he sets the mask aside for now and gives the woman his full attention. *Firan*

Shenisa hurries into Garmon's shop, the hood of her byrrus pulled over her head, to keep the snowflakes off of her hair. "My but it's snowing out there," she says, knocking her boots together before entering fully into the shop, trying to get the worst of the snow off. "Lovely to see you, Mer Garmon. I shall indeed take a seat," she says, moving to find a comfortable spot as soon as one of her servants takes her byrrus up.

Garmon looks towards the noblewoman and says, "Now, what do I owe the pleasure of your stop?" He looks to the window and doesn't seem to look as if he has really left the shop that often lately and gives her a bob of his head with a basket coming up from the back of the counter. The tag on it has her name already printed on it and says, "I am prepared for whatever it is that you have in mind for a commission, My Lady. Of course you are always welcome in the shop."

"I think I require something in wool - all my wools are dreadfully inadequate," says Shenisa. "I've taken to wearing silks with furs over them and frankly, I'm cold." Shenisa chuckles then, and says, "I know I can expect the finest from you - and I have this necklace," she says, holding up the one in Star Flower design, "Which I should like the wools to coordinate with."

Garmon nods his head and says, "I would be very happy to accommodate you, My Lady. I am humbled by your words. I am however glad to know that my name is so highly recognized." The man keeps a business like appearance and says, "I don't believe we have formally had you fit for an outfit before have we?" He looks through his records behind the counter, glancing up to her again, "Or I have not kept the record." he chuckles, "Old age you know."

"I've never had a formal fitting, no. The last outfit you did for me was based on a sample outfit I had sent you - too busy to stop by for a fitting, don't you know. But a fitting would be marvelous - it would ensure the perfect fit, and you know how I do like my clothes to fit well." Shenisa runs a hand down her onyx wools, which fit well.

Garmon pulls out a long knotted rope from behind the counter and stands, "Well, if you don't mind, then perhaps we can do that, and then perhaps we will make sure that nothing has changed from the last time that you have been in the shop." He smiles at her and comes out from behind the counter, "And perhaps you can tell me more specifically the design you have in mind." He pulls out some wool swatches and gently motions for the necklace, setting it against some of the hues, "Perhaps we can work together to find a matching color, so that it will be most FABULOUS together."

Shenisa admires the shades of garnet and obsidian on the necklace as he holds them up against other swaths of material. She stands up and removes her palla, giving him access to her with a nod of her head. "Of course - just tell me where to pose," she says, holding still as she looks at him with a smile on her face. "I was thinking of white wools that have ribbons perhaps, beneath here," she gestures to the breasts, "to cinch in and let the material fall from, in a sort of drape?"

Garmon nods his head and says, "I can understand that. I think that means that we will only need a few measurements, as you won't need it to be fitted around the hips." he smiles at her and proceeds to show her the rope with a more instructional manner. He tilts his head and says, "I do like to make sure that Ladies understand what a fitting entails, I don't like to frighten any." He gives her a warm smile, "I will simply wrap the rope around your shoulders and then here, to get a proper fit," he pauses to point to below her breasts, "Counting the knots so I can cut the fabric accordingly."

Shenisa holds still, saying, "That will be fine, Mer Garmon. I trust you." She lifts her arms over her head for him to measure beneath the breasts, and then turns as she is bidden for him to wrap the shoulders. "You are very professional, Mer. Your reputation is well-earned. Lady Xamori, I believe, is your sponsor?" she asks.

Garmon gives a beaming smile while he wraps the rope about her shoulders, keeping it not so tight as to pinch her, but not loose enough to cause it to slip. He nods his head, "Oh, yes. Lady Xamori is the most generous of sponsors. She is a very fine Lady, if I do say so myself." He smiles as he talks and counts at the same time. He chuckles and leans back after counting to write the number on his scroll, letting the rope fall to the floor, "I am pleased to know that I don't scare all noblewomen, I must say that there have been a few who are frightened of this old man."

Shenisa chuckles gently. "No, you don't frighten at all, Mer Garmon. In fact, I shall be telling Lady Xamori how pleased I am with her sponsoree." Shenisa says, "So what color ribbons do you think would coordinate with this necklace best, Mer? I was thinking something in a red shade - like the garnets?"

Garmon nods his head, and says, "If you will please raise your arms for me, we will get a good fit for you." He moves to wrap the rope around under her breasts, but always keeping his fingers to the side, never the front, brusting only slightly against the side of her body. He doesn't seem to notice as he cocks his head back to look at the swatches and says, "Well, I think that it would be a lovely accent to the white wools, very regal for such a fine lady as yourself. You would look most FABULOUS." He smiles at her and writes the knots down before letting the rope fall again, wrapping it up and putting it back behind the counter. "Perhaps contrasting shade of red, to add some depth to the design, I could as well, make some embroidery along the sides to re-create the fading star design that is shown in this necklace." He pauses, "How soon are you needing the garments, My Lady?"

Shenisa lifts her arms and holds them as he measures her sides. She sits stock still, not even giggling when sensitive places are touched with the measuring tape. "When you get them to me is fine. I know quality takes time." She considers his proposal for embroidery and says, "Yes. I think that would look quite beautiful. It would suit the white wools lovely. You do have a high quality wool cloth in stock, yes?" she enquires.

Garmon chuckles and says, "I only use the best of everything, My Lady. With clients such as yourself, I wouldn't wish to disappoint. I daresay I have worked a lifetime to be able to work with Ladies such as yourself." He smiles at her a genuine smile of kindness and says, "It blesses me everyday to have someone think so highly of my work. You will never know how much joy I get out of weaving the cloth myself." he nods his head and says, "I have the measurements, now simply getting down to the minute details of the project, what pieces are you wishing to be included?"

"I think a stola, a palla, a byrrus, and a pair of leather boots." Shenisa says, ticking them off on her fingers. "Enough to keep me quite warm in the winter months. What do you think? Do you think I require a pouch to match it?" she asks, consideringly. And at his flattery she smiles, a melted smile, and says, "Well thank you Mer Garmon."

Garmon moves back behind the counter and his green eyes sparkle with a bit of amusement at the woman's questions. He gets enjoyment out of every aspect of the consultations he does. He gives her a tilt of his head and says, "Well, that depends on if you plan to use the pouch. I have found that pouches are a nice accessory to any outfit, but in honesty, its not exactly the most affective if you don't use it. It just sits there like a flat piece of cloth."

"To be quite frank with you, the only thing I've ever used a pouch for is to keep the jewelry in," Shenisa says, laughing a bit as a child would discovered with a secret. "So perhaps a pouch won't be necessary Mer Garmon. Just the four pieces mentioned already. And if you could, could you line the boots with rabbit fur? I do love the feel of rabbit fur against the skin."

Garmon chuckles and leans against the counter and gives the woman a mock stage whisper, "If you promise not to tell my daughter that I use real rabbit fur." he shakes his head, "She would think I have done something with her rabbit." He gives the noblewoman a sparkling smile and says, "I will make those items and of course, if you need anything else added, you just send a messenger over with the details and I will be sure to accommodate you in any way that I can."

"Of course, Mer Garmon," says Shenisa. She smiles warmly at him and says, "And of course I do appreciate your quality. Lady Xamori always looks so elegant - I assume you are her personal tailor?" says Shenisa, enquiring minds want to know!

Garmon nods his head and says, "Well, yes of course I am. She comes in quite often to make sure her wardrobe is up to standards of the latest fashions. She does see the most quality of my work, and I am grateful of the business she sends in." He pauses and says, "And her family is growing, its quite nice to see her children in here all grown up wishing for clothing for themselves. Soon Lady Nilara will be asking for silks of all shades after her Ceremony I am sure."

"Of course she will," says Shenisa, nodding her head. "For silks of all shades do tend to make a noblewoman happy, don't they?" she asks, and then rises, waving a hand for her byrrus to be brought. "Well Mer Garmon I do suppose I've taken up enough of your time. You must be dreadfully busy, especially this time of year."

Garmon gives another chuckle and says, "I am quite busy, and messengers become quite familiar with the area and how to handle the baskets I send out." he moves to help open the door for the woman and says, "I appreciate you coming in My Lady and do come back and let me know if you need anything else in the future!" he opens the door and says, "Do stay warm on the way home."

"Zutiv bless you Mer Garmon," says Shenisa, pulling the hood of her byrrus over her head. "And you stay warm as well!" With that, Shenisa disappears through the door of the shop into the cold night air.
