Overview
Family Life
Marthin is a strong, dignified man who has spent all his life in servitude. He often keeps his eyes averted. He shies away from notice. Everything about him says that he bears the psychological marks of a life of slavery, but when he speaks, with that rich baritone, slow and thoughtful, he speaks with authority. He dreamed of Freedom, he dreamed of his birthright, and now he means to have them. He has raised a family in the worst circumstances, and everything he knows, was hard won. And yet, there are haunting circles beneath the eyes. He has seen terrible things, perhaps done horrible things too.

When Marthin met Geesha, she was wearing a burka and speaking for her Vitara. Later, when he heard her speak Firan, it was the first time he ever heard a woman speak his language but his mother, and it was love. He had known of course, that this is what a Firan Lady would be like, and he was right. Together, the conspired to join their noble houses and preserve their bloodlines in Shamibel, in spite of war, in spite of slaver, in spite of everything, and after a lifetime of plotting, they have triumphed together, at last, or so it seems.

Ista Barun Nobleman in Slavery
Lord Marthin is the son of Lord Stero and Lady Fia Ista Barun. While he will not talk about what happened - Marthin has shared that he was removed from his loving family when he was very young and brought up...differently. Still, he knew his true name and family, and he kept this secret with him always, knowing he was special and with purpose in life. He is an Ista Barun nobleman - and with the trials of slavery, he has proven his blood his better.
The Great Escape

Lord Marthin is fiercly proud of his eldest son, extremely proud. There is no other son who has ever come up to the level as Fiero has in any Firan family. Period. Any father who could call Fiero son, is one who can die knowing the family is safe.
Allies
Who are his allies? The elder Sennet Lord seems to not be in the public eye hardly at all.
Enemies
He does not like to discuss his enemies, however he has no qualms in settling issues with combat.
Scandals
The Firgalik Firgalas Festival of Firgalicious Firgality!
Lady Tia Firgalik, wife of Clan Leader Ojitar Firgalik of the Gold Dragon Clan, held an event at the Gold Dragon mansion to discuss Firgalas. Lord Marthin attended to make sure that true history was remembered and not far flung stories of how the Gold Dragon legend would shoot lightening bolts from his eyes and merely raised a hand and Griffon Armies just fell dead. He actually gave a compliment - the only way a Griffon can, and Lady Tia took such offense when he stated that there has been no other leader from the Gold Dragon clan that could match Firgalas that she caused a lot of insults to fly - and a duel was nearly called.
Lord Marthin left, due to Clan Leader Luna suddenly messenging him and correcting. Lord Marthin realises that unlike some women, you should give Lady Tia a wide space and simply leave that woman who was born with a platinum spoon alone.
He has, though, since apologised and still though leaves Lady Tia alone..
