MATEEN MAGEERAN

Mateen Mageeran was born a member of the Hydran clan, in the city of Kenirugor, raised as a devout Zutivian follower. He was good natured and generally easy going for a member of the Hydran clan, which was unusual. He was considered to be the black sheep of the Mageeran family, having been disowned and acknowledged a countless number of times for his political views. When the shamibelians invaded his home city of Kenirugor, his family packed up and moved to Anarinuell to make a life there. He'd served a season along the front, and afterwards gained the attention of the Queen, who'd at one time considered him for some sort of diplomat. During the great exodus to Arinzi, he followed his family once more, and settled there, occasionally making trips back and forth to Anarinuell.

His death on Nov 9, in the year 22 A.U. is publically shrouded in mystery, and for reasons unknown the investigation was not pursued very hard. He'd been taken from his home forcibly, and his body was later found on the doorstep of the Mageeran estate in Anarinuell with his head bashed in. Those who were responsible for his death were not caught. He is survived by his son Zateen, who was born after Mateen's death in 23 A.U., and his wife Leena of four and a half months.
