LADY MAUVIA TERANZIK

Lady Mauvia Teranzik was born and raised in the city of Nelanos, and a prominent member of the Bear Clan. As a young woman, she trained to be a lady-in-waiting for Clan Leader Aldrik, Sabine's mother, and had a casual acquaintance with the Royal Bear family. She was briefly married to Lord Drishon Teranzik, and produced two children; Taleo and Tergus. During the Great War she was captured as a slave, along with her two children, though managed to escape with the help of her sons. Her husband died during the war.

The only living members of the Teranzik family, Lady Mauvia became the matriarch of House Teranzik. She was often involved in many activities, and served in several Republic positions, including, most recently, the Minster of Propriety. She also served as Minster of Entertainment for the Bear Clan, an appointment bestowed upon her by Lady Fidelia Ista Aldrik during her term as Proxy. She was most noted for her love for children, especially young girls, and for her social committee, which met regularly to discuss social improvements and noble propriety.

Lady Mauvia Teranzik died on Wed Mar 5, during the Shamibelian air raids of 24 A.U., when a griffon landed on the Teranzik Estate and fell through the roof. It is popular belief that she died trying to save a young child, Mes Rialla Ista Ankur, daughter to Mes Lianna Ista Ankur - who was working for Lady Mauvia as her cook and companion at the time.
