A good lot of fun. I am very wet behind the ears as far as tactics go. So any opportunity to try a war/commanding situation with a neutral party administering is very much appreciated. The only thing I might change, when feasible, is to have a briefing afterward. What could the losing party do better? Where did the winning party stumble? In many cases, such as this one, the flaws will be fairly obvious in retrospect (and some characters simply will not be very clever, alas, Aeryk being one of them), but it may be helpful.

I had this typed out and then forgot to send it. Go me.
First off I really enjoyed the last patrol and thanks so much for running it. I was expecting the usual march-out-find-shami-kill-shami, so this was a nice surprise.
The team vs team + scenario was interesting. But while I appreciate how freeform it was, I think the sheer amount of leeway was a source of frustration for me. I never -quite- sure of what was going on, besides posing shooting and running four times in a row.
I frequently felt that I wished I had more opportunities to make decisions than just my two cents during the planning phase (and I felt a little overpowered during that process by the others on my team).
It might have been nice to stop the action once or twice more and do a run-down, then have one random person on each team (or have us roll something to see who gets to stand up) have to make a decision about what happens so we could feel more like we influenced it with our choices.
These aside though, I don't want to sound negative. I enjoyed myself and look forward to attending tonight's patrol - it was a welcome, fun break from code combat and I appreciated it greatly.
