NATHIM ISTA ANKUR

Nathim was the only son of High General Ersin Ista Ankur. He joined the Republic military at a young age and bravely left his fiancé, Ranazeel Darkas, to head to the front and fight along with the rest of his unit. Sadly, Nathim was captured that year, and because of a blow to the head, he suffered from amnesia. When Nathim was rescued from Ellish after being beaten and broken as a slave for a whole year, he returned to the city, not knowing anything of his past life. Ersin claimed his son and took him in, but no matter how hard Nathim tried to get his life back to normal, some things could not be worked out. His betrothal to Ranazeel ended because he could not remember her, and he continued on through his life the best that he could with what he managed to remember.

Eventually, Nathim remarried to Mes Lianna, a woman who was left in charge of the Ista Ankur household. Nathim fell in love with her ability to make him smile, and they settled down and had a small family consisting of his first-born daughter, Rialla, and his son, Shayn. Nathim bestowed many honors in his life, including being named a Sharinar of his clan, but as the years passed on, things would start to deteriorate for Nathim. When he failed to rescue children who were trapped in a fire, his title as Sharinar was questioned, but never taken away. Then, in 38 A.U., Nathim lost his own daughter, Rialla in a devastating fire that burned down the Hope's Home Orphanage.

Some say that Nathim never recovered from the loss of his suspected only blood child. Nathim was soon found guilty of conspiring against the Republic in an attempt to overthrow it in 39 A.U.. He was stripped of his title and last name, leaving his father as the last honorable Ista Ankur. All of his land was returned back to the Republic, and because of his confession to these crimes and his wife's involvement as well, they were both executed for treason. He is survived only by his son, Shayn.
