NIKA GARKANSEN

Born in 10 A.U. in Anarinuell, the daughter of Simma and Ambrose Garkansen was known as a charming and sweet young woman. Hero-worshipping her older sister Antonia, Nika stopped dabbling in tailoring around the time that Antonia joined the Republic First Division. It is said that Antonia's death during the lion attacks of 28 A.U. hardened Nika, causing her to dedicate herself to the First Division much like her elder sister had done. Unlike Antonia, Nika had led a scandal-free life, which was still full of promise. Until the fateful day, November 7 in 29 A.U. that Shamibelians raided the countryside around Anarinuell. Nika Garkansen rushed to the defense and died upon a Shamibelian spear.
