Spring Festival has sprung and so now we're moving on into the season further. The lovely stench of the canal is soon to start wafting through the air no doubt. Time to put those winter boots away and go barefoot for the least unfortunates of our unfortunates. Can't be wasting good boots on warm weather you know.
IC News and Rumours:
It would seem that one of our resident lawyers has decided to resurface once again in the Ol'City. Uriah is looking for a sponsor in order to better serve those so deserving of his lawyer like keeness. Not to mention he might be cheaper than them waller lawyers!
Asalan took on Aspius for the Gladiator Title! It was a not-so-exciting match, with Aspius going down hard after three blows. Asalan didn't receive so much as a bruise,and while he was the victor, he challenged anyone in the crowd to come at him in a fist-fight. Sernon was the first challenger, and he went down hard. With two unconscious bodies were at Asalan's feet when the Ticanee Nodin stepped up. Asalan was a bit hurt at this point, and he just kept nailing Nodin much the same way he nailed Sernon with his fist. When it looked like Nodin might fall on the next punch, Nodin hit Asalan just right knocking the Old City gladiator right out! It was an exciting evening. What does Asalan get for his trouble? A red belt that his wife thinks is a bit 'too red' and free baths! Along with some stenis, of course.
Rumour has it that Helena might have landed herself in jail
and so soon after resurfacing no doubt. Not that anyone can
say for sure though. No charges have been filed for those
that pay attention to such things. Maybe Uriah should see
if such rumours are true! No doubt if they are she could
use a lawyer.
The Dove has aquired some more whores. In fact /every/ one that used to be a part of the Gentlemen's Club. Niobe above all seems to find this very amusing. Even waited in the Nook that night to heckle the whores back into the Dove.
Apparently hanging about in the Nook is back in fashion. Yeah I know the only fashionable thing in the Old City. However Furen and Niobe managed to get into it with some crazy woman the other day. She was trying to go deeper into the Old City with a toddler no doubt. Rumour has it she must have found a way back in or something later on as the toddler is missing and she's been arrested for slaving.
Whores can't seem to stay out of trouble these days. That Evia who is the Madame at the Dove seems to have been arrested by the Eagle Clan of all things. For child abuse from the rumours coming out of the walls.
Happenings In the City:
The Unification Septathlon is coming up soon. @cal 6723 Yay for getting together and beating up on things again. Festival might not be too long in the past but we always enjoy the chance to win prizes and fight. After all who wouldn't.
The Gentlemen's Club Trial was just the other day. The Viceroy has seen fit to close the club after convicting all of the women involved. Some Maiya whore type threw a fit in the Unity Building. No lightening bolts appeared though.
Praise Suggestions: Asalan - For winning that pretty too red belt! Uriah - Yay lawyers! Even if he doesn't have a sponsor yet. Bliss - For getting sent back to the Dove! We lurf our whores. Vana - Being Pandarus's daughter, sponsoring various Old City folks and teaching her daughter to follow suit!
Diss Suggestions: Bliss - For being convicted of child abuse.
