Apparently there's a fecker in town who thinks he's hot shite. Or so the word being passed around says, oldbie from back in Sangreos's time. Thinks that after leavin folks hanging fer years he kin jus' waltz back in an' order folks about. Folks is sayin Firatik be 'is name. Though many can't remember it.

Vicklo's been seen about the Ol'City again. Surly as ever by most people's opinion. Seems he was seen chatting it up with the leader of Black Company. People aren't really sure how that went though, the surly types are hard to read you know.

Rumour has it that Shade's finally had that kid of hers. In a waller Temple no doubt! Even more, Niobe apparently has gone over her monthly bath quota just to help Asalan's woman out. What is the Ol'City coming to these days.

Geloe it would seem has people talking. She's got a creepy fixation with a certain dead haffie. When she gets into those moods its best to tread lightly. Fits of irrational rage tend to accompany them.

Caree has been seen out and about the old city more and more in recent days, speaking to a lot of people about a variety of things. Is she up to something or just being friendly? Word is though she has been offering her services as a smith of all types. Weapons, armour, jewelry, bronze, locks and keys and the like.

Hired thugs have been seen about the Dagger N' Dice pissing Niobe off to no end. She's been heard about getting folks t'gether to run them off. But jus' when they were about to tangle with 'em the feckers up and disappeared. Did their pay run out? Had all that glaring and threats Niobe hurled at them sunk in at last? No one seems quite sure about it.

So, it seems Geloe has taken up 'residence' in the Opening Gambit office. At least, she's spending an awful lot of time there. Plus, she's had like... business meetings and everything. Could it be there's life to be had within the gaming hall?

Helena managed to survive her trial it would seem, landed herself back into the Ol'City. Folks ain't quite sure what ta think of 'er gettin caught and sentenced so they just watch her with interest.

Rumours abound that there's a rapist on the loose in the Ol'City. A bad one at that, losing his victim and ending up with wallers even coming into the Ol' City to investigate some screamin naked woman. Some say that it's a relative of Shade's, but then some say it ain't. Could be just some random woman...

OldCity Advertising:

Word has been spread by the usual means of small annoying urchins and those who know people and can pass things on that Caree is looking for additional combat training, primarily the slippier arts like escape and dodge and perhaps knives. All to level 4 if it can be arranged.

Those same small irritating urchins are also letting it be known that Geloe is looking to learn a bit more too. Only she's looking for those socially useful things such as con and deception. A bit more knowledge in the way of espionage is more than welcome also. Messengers know where to find her.

Happenings In the City:

Apparently nobles have been breeding like rabbits over the winter months. Because there's been a bunch of them birthin babies. We like Shade better though. Yay for Ol'City babies.

The whole Master of the Dagger event is coming up soon Many will gather to see who's best with the blade no doubt. @cal 6896

BelikFest is going on, some Hydran thing about their dead Clan Leader and celebrating. Maybe they just needed another festival time to be able to drink or something so the rumour goes.

That Uffian High Priestess still hasn't fixed her feck up. No birds back in the Temple from what folks say. The High Priestess of the Realms has even taken an interest. That Bird lady better clean up her mess fast.
