OLD CITY NEWS 3/26/2008

Left-eye and Three-Tooth were star whores back in the day. That was before the Republic was even created though! This is their story:

Left-eye scrubs some dirty clothing, left to the job of laundry-"doer" after having retired from whoring. But does one ever truly retire? "Hey three-tooth! Ya know how we talked about the halfie beating? Well, looks like 'em Junos Boys' and Istems Gang took it to the next level and focused their grunt on Kuda."

Three-tooth looks interested, "Daaaamn, I'd like to be the focus of their grunt."

"Uh-hu. Somethin' about the Guards goin' after 'm or something, and I gather Kuda wasn't giving his cut to people. Anyway, they rightly kicked 'im out of the ol'city 'cause they were tired of covering up after a halfie. Furen and Yathel been doin' some other stuff too. They pushed Kadia into the canal 'cause she was drunk, though Geloe was not all too thrilled to see it and got into a 'fight' with Furen. Geloe went down pretty damn hard though. Think Furen got her all knocked up?"

Three-tooth seems unhappy, "Geloe should become one of us and not have ta worry about being beaten' up for nothin', at least we gets paid! Hey, did ya hear about tackleball?? Niobe is askin' around for volunteers, seems like the ol'city is gonna put together a team. Won't that be sweet, tackling nobles and wallers alike? I hear Asalan, Kandara, and Viklerian might be joinin' the team."

Left-eye groans, "Oh! I heard Shade been up ta no good again. She sent Furen five-thousand flowers of some sort. Furen liked 'em so much he stomped on 'em until there was nothin' left. Then her and Furen got into a spat with Asalan standin' around! That gladiator is lettin' Shade fight her own verbal battles and everythin'!"
