IC NEWS! (4-09-08)

Niobe managed to find some use out of the waller Funeral games. She competed, kicked waller backside, and came out on top with a iron armor permit! Rumor has it that she's looking for a set of iron armor made up all proper-like. To be sure other OCers are rushing to try to win their iron armor permits for their iron armor!
It sure looked like her, and one woman did say she would know Pakeera if she ever saw her. Down by the Clinic, a woman that matched Pakeera's description was seen going in and a few moments later coming out. Has Pakeera really come out of wherever she was hiding and is going to be at the clinic again? That'll be real good, Pakeera sure knows a lot about making things better - and I'm not talking just about healing either. Perdina apparently started to help out afterwards (OOC: Since Pakeera had to roster) and apparently intends to keep the place running!
The OC Tackleball team sucked it up. Only Kandara showed up!
Asalan has been seen talking to some guy named Kultur. The man is not from around these parts but apparently wants to find himself a home inside the OC. Though it looked as though Asalan might get into a confrontation with him, instead he decided to show him around.
Furen is trying out for public office! Or, you know, trying to take advantage of a poor situation. What the hell is up with some Old City guy named Trachi, and why the hell didn't he give us some share of the goods? The OC wants to know, and Furen stood front and center to let the city know that the Istems want their share! Iberiks best pay up.
In sadder news, Unsel died! Another OC war hero falls to help save all of firan-kind! Apparently some Ticanee girl had really fallen for him. The OC has mixed feelings. He's a war hero, and one of our own, but then he also left us! Unsel leaves some kids behind.. some land! What's that, did someone suggest a party on Unsel's land?
Garmon's quest: You donate 30 units of the recycled silk cloth to Garmon's special project, with your remaining silk recycled he makes you an outfit. This is an offer up to 2 outfits. (Meaning: Donate 60 silk units to the project and get 2 outfits in trade, with the additional silk you get from recycling.) This means, he will not charge you for time or labor, and certainly not for materials. A fair trade of silk for silk. (This is probably only news worthy to Shade!)
