Three-tooth and Left-eye are in the bathhouse, it's a rare and special moment. The Wallers quickly push toward the outside edges of the pool away from them.
"Ah, back in the day, they'd be flockin' to us Left-eye..."
"I hear ya Three-tooth. Speaking of hearing, it's going at this age. Notice that like, Geloe hasn't been saying anything? Ever since that thing where Kadia got thrown in the canal and Furen smacked her around, she's not been doin' much. Oh sure, she hangs out at the Dagger, but her and her pack and son have been skulking about. Is he up to somethin' or just being quiet?
Three-tooth shrugs. "Hey, maybe Furen is givin' her a little somethin-somethin and keeping her all entertained? Left-eye! Did you see that ugly kid walkin' about? I hear all the men talkin' about her. Madika or somethin' of the sort? She's gonna be as solid as Jaz if she keeps gettin' any bigger, and Jaz was no pretty girl..."
Left-eye nods, "No she wasin't... Isn't Madika adopted, one of Niobe's orphans or somethin? Apparently she's been eating table scraps and left-overs at the Dagger and then wantin' money from Sameera for the clean-up service. Cheeky thing, ain't she? Speaking of Niobe.. Last we heard she was on that pirate mission! Apparently being seasick, likely puking drunk, while on a ship has a way of making you seem a HUGE threat. So much so that during the second Supreme Pirate challenge, when she was so 'sick' she couldn't compete, Niobe earned enough black marks to get passage home. Stuff of legends, really.
Three-tooth nods. "Ha! Better then a kick in the ass I suppose! Yeah, but hey, what the feck is up with Shade? Did ya hear she went missin' and the like? Asalan goes off on his waller tour of heroes or some crap like that, apparently he went with Kandara, and as he's goin' away enjoying himself Shade gets herself kidnapped! Dunno what exactly happened there, though I do knows that Weinus was worried about her nails. She was overdue for a pedicure! Asalan is back now so... who knows. I hear halfies did it!
"And then there's the poor Madix kids. I dunno how to count past a thousand stenis, dunno how much sixty-whatever million is each, but seems like a little more then a thousand stenis! I thinks they're gonna have to rob far more people if they wanna pay that fine. Damn wallers, and damn princes too!
WALL OF SHAME
It's Spring Festival time! The Wall of Shame is taking a break just like everyone else. Peace, love, and all that! (Or mostly, well, fighting it bad this time of year!)
