Yozzana ain't had any luck at all since the Griffon clan decided to start getting hard on the rules again. Seems all Griffon commoners need to get sponsored by a Griffon noble, unless they have special permission, or some law like that. Being a lawyer and all, breaking laws isn't too good for her.. and she's not in a position to go sticking her head out by bothering a clan proxy 'til the situation is bad. Yozzana is just waiting and hoping that a position'll open up from someone. Hopefully not some prude who'll want her to go take a bath or somethin' first.

To add further insult, the Griffons are cracking down on military service which is actually quite mandatory in their clan! They found out that Vinoria doesn't have any military service time. And so... Vinoria joined the Griffon military and she's under our good (but mostly absent!) friend Jariko. They're part of The Black Dove squad! She'll be joining Yozzana, Keeshan, and a few whores!

Yathel was enjoying the wonders of Eesha's festival, or at least looking for opportunity to practice his skills. He competed in the "Best Liar" competition and he actually won! Then he got annoyed and left because people were sitting at his table. It's really odd, though, because Yathel is normally so social!

What's with all these little brats sneaking into the Old City? Priestess Shade encountered one feisty, insulting little fella one night, then the very next night, Aryka and Sariben had to chase another runty little kid out of the Dice and Dagger! Did I miss a feckin' memo, or is Niobe setting out kid-bait?

Are wedding bells ringing? Asalan and Shade were celebrating getting their land since apparently they're one of the few OC families that don't actually have land, and Viklerian and Yozzana were looking all lovey-dovy toward one another! Alright, alright, maybe not, but Asalan and Shade were certainly pushing the couple together to get married. Yozzana refused on the grounds that her mother wasn't there, and Viklerian put on his smooth moves by rejecting Yozzana. All the while Furen did the appropriate thing, explaining that he has a thousand wives because he sleeps around with a thousand women and that marriage is stupid!
