Orestes

Orestes Rissik was born in Emran and arrived in Anarinuell soon after the Rissiks were ennobled; he always had a strong feeling that the Rissiks owed much to the Ranivor for the graciousness shown to their family. In addition to being an architect of renowned works around his birth city, he was known for his commitment to the military and served the Republic proudly by completing several tours at the front. Seeking to expand his architecture repertoire, he moved to Anarinuell to study the building structures there. His family strongly wished for him to restore their name in the prestigious city, where other members -- such as Riss and Garen -- were creating early ripples in what would be a tumultuous future for the Rissik family.

Orestes married Lady Rasha, a N'Gato by birth and together, they had three children: Arissa, Belcia, and Coristus. By noble standards, their marriage was a happy one which weathered the strife caused by the mistakes Rasha's father made and the political missteps of the Rissik family.

Unfortunately, Orestes became wrapped up in a scandal that proved to be his undoing. During the year of 39 A.U., Lady Yasha -- then a Chimeran Clan proxy -- announced that Mes Tallea Rissik had been granted noble title. That this was done by Yasha and not the [[Clan Leader]] was interpreted as a Rissik power-play and their loyalty to the Clan was called into question. When the Rissiks became linked to the Antonian Apostasy, then-Prince Torianos declared the family to be treasonous to the Chimera Clan throne, stripped them of their titles and several members -- including Orestes -- were put to death for their traitorous ambitions.

He is survived by his wife, Rasha, and their three children.
