PAVAN

Pavan, once Lord Pavan N'gato, then Pavan Mondarik, a man with troubled history. Always striving for his father's approval, Pavan would do many a rash thing to gain acceptance in his father's eyes. A hydra lord, an eagle military man, a traitor.

Falling in love with his sponsoree, Lasanna Mondarik, Pavan tried to win many festival pents before finally being able to claim her as his marriage prize in 21 A.U. Before they could marry however, the Hydra clan made their exodus to Arinzi. Pavan nor his bride to be went and as a result, Pavan lost his title, his name, his family, and his clan. After a scandalous wait, Pavan and Lasanna were finally wed on July 15 22 A.U. Their marriage started off rocky and would continue to be so.

But the pull to please his father would be too much for Pavan, who would fall under Gadiste's sway during 'the dream' in 25 A.U. that few people talk about and many more remember moments to terrible to relive. Pavan seemed to pull himself together, but the Hydra civil war 29 A.U. again played on the inferior feelings Pavan felt, to his father, to Zutiv, to everyone. The pull Gadiste exerted over his son would prove fatal. Pavan disappeared, presumed drowned while fighting the Eagle clan's navy, in April 29 A.U.

Pavan, or someone calling himself Pavan, reappeared in 33 A.U. in Arinzi. He had raised an army in secret and captured the city, proclaiming himself Regent for the young Lord Amenik Istabelik. During an Eagle Clan siege of the city he was assassinated by Mer Hadinikas for 10 million stenis. Hadinikas himself did not survive.

It was also rumored at the time that Pavan had a twin named Zingo; or that the man called Zingo was the real Pavan and that the one in Arinzi was an imposter. Regardless, the man who conqurered Arinzi remains soul-deathed without his proper funerary rites.
